After owning my first Jeep, I was immediately hooked on Jeeps. I've owned a
1947 CJ-2A, a 1984 Grand Wagoneer, and a 1986 CJ-7, and I hope to have many more.

Sometime in 2000 I realized that Scramblers were becoming popular and the prices were
jumping up. Over the years I've grown into a huge fan of these rare vehicles. Surprising even
myself as I thought Scramblers were awkward and ugly when I first saw them in the 1980's.
Having owned a CJ-7 at the time, I knew I would have to sell it in order to buy the Scrambler,
but I was hooked -- This is the one I chose:
  • 1983 Jeep Scrambler SR
  • 258CID - 6 cylinder
  • T-177 4 speed transmission
  • Original Copper Metallic paint
  • 88,000 miles
  • Power Steering
  • Only the seats, top, and radio were not original
  • It needed a new left fender and windshield frame

I bought this Jeep in September 2001 from the second owner who had owned it for 16 years.
He bought it used in 1985. I had to drive 11 hours one-way to pick it up in Oklahoma.
